She isn't married to Lupin, and she most definately isn't pregnant. Complete Character Description: Slender, pale and pretty, Tonks would quite probably draw attention for her looks even if she were not a metamorphmagus. After all, the Black family and all their descendants have been attractive, and Tonks is no exception. Even in her natural form, she is quite beautiful. Of course, she's seldom exactly in her natural form. Her pale, heart-shaped face, she leaves mostly as nature made it. She seldom changes her height, about 5'5, weight, around 125 lbs, or anything of the sort unless she needs to for work. But what really draws one's attention to Nymphadora Tonks, what has become her calling card and most notable feature, is the constantly-shifting colour of her hair. From one day to the next, it can change to be any colour one could imagine. She does, however, favor pink and is often seen with bright, shiny, and very pink, cotton-candy colored hair. The young witch has brown eyes that are constantly twinkling with mischief as well as the brightly colored hair that is her the feature that distinguishes her the most. She dresses in a very casual manner, her half-blood status very clear in her choices. She favors muggle clothes, jeans and t-shirts, when she doesn't have to be wearing her wizard robes. She is never, ever, without the wand that allows her to do magic. Personality Cheerful, vivacious, and playful, the young Auror's personality rather matches the color of her hair for brightness. She's seldom upset about anything, and on the rare occaisions she is, it doesn't take much to cheer her up. She is also fiercly loyal. She is quick to make friends with anyone who shows the slightest bit of interest in being friends with her. Once she does consider anyone as a friend, she would gladly do anything for them. Any cause that she devotes herself to gets the benefit of her full, energetic, although somewhat clumsy, support. Background: Tonks, as she insists on being called, was an Auror before she was taken, despite her young age. She is the daughter and only child of Andromeda Black, of the infamous Black family, and a muggle, Ted Tonks. Thus, she is considered a half-blood, and many members of the Black family would prefer to forget she exists. Although, to be completely fair, she often returns the favour when it comes to many members and descendants of said family. Growing up, she had a hard time fitting in with anyone she knew. At a very young age, her natural shapeshifting abilities manifested, making it impossible for her to fit in within the muggle world. For years, she tried to learn to control them. Depsite her best efforts, it took her until she was into her early teens to do so. She will never forget the way she felt, approaching the sorting hat during her first year, unable to control her constantly shifting body. This experience, and the resulting status of outcast that she got as a result of it, has made her sympathetic towards anyone else who has gotten the same status. However, her cheerful disposition soon won her many friends despite her oddity, and as she learned to control her natural abilities, things got even better. She was sorted into Hufflepuff while at Hogwarts, but was not made a prefect, due to an unfortunate tendancy towards mischief. However, she recieved good grades in all her classes. There was never any question for her about what she wanted to do after school. The exciting life of an Auror drew her, and always had ever since the first time she met the man who was to become her mentor, Mad-Eye Moody. All of her training left her keen, ready to go, prepared to fight evil, ready to utterly destroy the Death Eaters and their minions. What it most definately has not prepared her for is a life of luxury, and a prison that she has no chance of escaping. However, her good nature and ability to adapt might just see her through alright. Only time can tell. Weaknesses Tonks is, to put it perfectly bluntly, extremely clumsy. She is also somewhat impulsive, and doesn't always take things as seriously as she perhaps should. Strengths She is loyal, brave, and throws her entire being into everything she does. Likes Chocolate, rock music, dogs, being active. Dislikes Cooking, most vegetables, sitting still. Talents and Hobbies: Magic, her natural ability to shapeshift. She likes to listen to music, and anything that involves lots of activity is great with her. Hiking, swimming, boating, skiing, she loves them all. Since she is related to the Black family, she is basically related to all pureblood families.
